Santa Claus Suits and Accessories

The professional Santa Claus suit, designed by the legendary Charles W. Howard, was first introduced in 1937 at his Santa Claus School in Albion, New York.  After years of wearing poorly made costumes, Howard designed a suit that met both the needs and the rigors of the professional Santa. The suit became world famous as major department stores, parades, organizations and photo companies wanted the look of the real Santa for their business and events.

Sam Militello carries on this fine tradition of this unique professional Santa Claus suit. His company, Santa & Co., L.L.C. has kept the value, quality, service, craftsmanship and longevity of this suit.  In business for over 23 years, Sam is assisted by his wife Karen and their select master tailors /dress makers.  As a graduate of the Charles W. Howard Santa Claus School, Sam understands the legacy of the suit and fully supports the school for which it was created.

Our traditional standard style Santa Claus suits start as low as $599.95, with quantity discounts of 2 or more.  The natural qualities and the light weight of our fully satin-lined wool make it the coolest suit to wear when compared to velvet and other synthetic fabrics.  However, we are now offering red and Victorian red (burgundy) velvet Santa Claus suits in our traditional style for those who insist on these materials. 

Competitors have copied, but none to this day give you the consistency in color and the quality in materials used to achieve the realism this style Santa Claus suit offers.  We are not just a costume company, but part of the rich Santa Claus suit history and tradition. We also feature professional wigs and beards along with other important accessories.  We have recently introduced in traditional wool or velvet our new Cola style suit, vest, robe, and matching Mrs. Claus dress with optional lace aprons. 

Like its founder Charles W. Howard, Santa & Co., L.L.C. is the only full-service company in North America and perhaps the world, that offers cleaning, repairs, and storage on other brand suits. Keeping Santa looking his best is a priority!  We are meticulous in using a special method of dry-cleaning on both faux fur and rabbit/fox fur trim.  We do all kinds of repairs—large or small!  We also do re-furring on most brands of Santa Claus suits at a very affordable price. 

Our traditional wool Santa Claus suits are used by the Charles W. Howard Santa Claus School in Midland, Michigan.  Each year the school has a limited number of our standard style Santa Claus suits for purchase.  Keep in mind that our suits that are directly bought from us, can be delivered to the school before session begins for all those that will be attending in any given year.  Order early to insure delivery

Please order early for custom sizes and special trims.  Our white rabbit and fox trimmed suits are special ordered and subject to trim availability. A deposit of ½ down will begin the construction of your new Santa Claus suit on a first come - first served basis, so that you will receive your suit in a reasonable period of time.  However, we will keep a supply of our regular size traditional wool and velvet Santa suits on hand for immediate delivery.
